3 DAYS TOURS DETAILS

DAY1: Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your self-booked hotel at around 08:30, take you to buy the temple pass and then escort you to exploring Angkor Wat the largest religious monuments in the world. It was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century (1113-1150).  And then continue to the heart of Angkor Thom City to visit the first stop at the South Gate of Angkor Thom and then keep going to visit Bayon, Baphuon, Royal Palace of Phimeanakas during Varman dynasties (893-1431), Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Preah Palilay. And take you explore Ta Prohm is the temple covered by jungles and giant trees made famous by Tomb Raider. Lunch is on your own and your private guide is also glad to provide some recommendations the restaurant nearby temple. After lunch, we will take you to visit Srah Srang "Ancient Royal Swimming Pool" and Banteay Kdei In 2002 the Japanese Archeologists rediscovered 274 Buddha in the pit. DAY2: Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your self-booked hotel at around 05:00, and then escort you to visit Sunrise at Angkor Wat and keep going to visit Preah Khan the Buddhist King's Father temple, restored by WMF project – Neak Pean located inside artificial Lake Jayatataka – Ta Som’s most prominent feature is a huge strangler fig tree which has engulfed the eastern gate – East Mebon temple was built in 953 AD and by Rajendravarman II using Khmer materials namely sandstone, bricks, laterite and stucco – Banteay Samre dates from the same period as Angkor Wat was built by King Suryavarman II. After lunch, we will take you to visit Banteay Srei called Lady Temple, 38 km from Siem Reap, the most beautiful, intricate and pinkish sandstone carvings of Khmer Art and back to explore Pre Rup temple " called crematorium " because during 16 century the local people who lived here cremated the dead body in this temple but actually this dried brick temple was built in the mid 10 century and dedicated to Shiva one of the trinity in Hindu. DAY3: In the morning, our guide will pick you up at your self-booked hotel at 08:00, take you to buy the boat tickets excursion to Kompong Phluk, Over 3000 inhabitants are real Khmers, their households made of wood and bamboo built on stilts of about 7m to 8m high. During dry season when the lake is low and lack of water those buildings look like the skyscrapers. At this time of the year many of villagers move out onto the lake and build provisional stilted houses. In wet season while the water level rises up again, the dwellers move back to their permanent houses on the flood plain, the stilts now hidden under the water. People made a living by catching fishes produce as well as smelly fish paste, fermented fish, smoked fish, dried fish, dried prawn, take a mini boat row to see flooded mangrove forest surrounds the area.
